Currently, there is no way to cancel an individual Auto Payment without completely unenrolling your loan from Auto Pay.
If you'd like to unenroll from Auto Pay, you can do so by following the steps on this page or by contacting our Client Happiness team by clicking the "Get In Touch" button found at the bottom of this article.
To successfully stop an upcoming payment, you must submit your request at least three business days before your payment due date. While we can still process your unenrollment after this cut-off, we cannot guarantee that the upcoming Auto Payment will be stopped.
If Earnest is unable to cancel a payment, you may still be able to put a stop payment on the transaction through your bank. If you do so, the payment will likely fail. Please check with your bank before requesting a stop payment to see if any charges or conditions apply.
