From the date your payment is scheduled, it can take additional time for the payment to show in your transaction history or debit your payment account. If you are waiting for a payment to reflect on your account, here are some things to keep in mind:
- If you are enrolled in Auto Pay, your payment will be applied to your due date. Please allow at least two business days from the scheduled date for electronic payments to be processed and debited from your payment account. It’s important to note that holidays and weekends may impact these timelines.
- Any same-day online payment scheduled before 11:59 PM ET will be credited toward your loan balance effective that date. This remains true if the payment is scheduled on a weekend or on a banking holiday.
- If you are sending your payment by mail, the payment will have an effective date in your payment history for the day the payment was received. Please keep in mind that mailed payments are only processed on business days, and can take an additional two business days to be applied to your account.
- If you still have not seen any change to the transaction history on either your Earnest account or from your bank account 10 days after your due date, our team is happy to research your payment further. You can contact us by clicking "Get In Touch" found at the bottom of this article.
