When Will My Payment Reflect in My Payment Account and Online Dashboard? | Repaying Your Loan

From the date your payment is scheduled, it can take additional time for the payment to post to your Earnest account or debit your payment account. If you are waiting for a payment to be posted to your loan, below are some things to keep in mind: 

  • If you are enrolled in Auto Pay, your payment will be applied to your due date. Please allow at least two to five business days from the scheduled date for electronic payments to be processed and debited from your payment account. It’s important to note that holidays and weekends may impact these timelines. 
  • Any same-day online payment scheduled before 8:59 p.m. PT will be credited toward your loan balance effective that date. This remains true if the payment is scheduled on a weekend or on a banking holiday.
  • If you send your payment by mail, it will be effective on the day it is received. Please keep in mind that mailed payments are only processed on business days and can take an additional two business days to be applied to your account. 

If your payment was scheduled online or you are enrolled in Auto Pay, you will see the pending payment(s) on the Transactions page of your online account. To access this part of your dashboard, sign in, click “Transactions” from the left-side navigation menu, or “See Full History” in the Payment History section.

If you still have not seen your payment(s) post to the transaction history section of your Earnest account or debited from your bank account 10 days after your due date, our team is happy to research the payment(s) further.
