Earnest was founded in 2013 and joined the Navient family in 2017. Earnest provides private student loans and personal loan products to consumers. Earnest also provides loan servicing for all our loan products and collaborates with MOHELA, our servicing partner since October 21, 2024, for private student loan products, providing additional support, including outbound calls for past-due accounts and curating personalized repayment options for our student loan products.
