How Do I Locate and Download My 2024 Tax Document(s) (1098-E)? | Repaying Your Loan

What is the 1098-E form?

Form 1098-E is a Student Loan Interest Statement we issue to clients who’ve paid eligible student loan interest during the calendar year. You may be able to deduct some or even all of that interest on your federal income tax return. It’s important to note that we don’t have access to any interest amounts you’ve paid to other lenders prior to refinancing, so your form will only show the interest you’ve paid on your Earnest or NaviRefi loan in 2024. If you are a cosigner or have made payments towards a loan not in your name, you will not receive a 1098-E form from Earnest or NaviRefi. We recommend consulting your tax advisor if you have questions, or check out this article for more information.
