We're happy to decrease your Auto Payment amount, so long as your new amount does not fall below the minimum amount required, result in a balloon payment (a large final payment), or push your final payment date beyond your original loan term.
To file a request to change to your Auto Payment amount, please contact Client Happiness. Be ready to specify what you would like your new amount to be. If you're not sure of the exact amount you'd like your payment to be, but want it lowered as much as possible, please simply request that we lower it as much as possible. If we can do so, we will honor the request.
Please note that changes may take a full payment cycle to implement. Once we implement the change, the new Auto Payment will be your minimum amount due. In addition, there isn't a way to change the amount of one Auto Payment without changing the amount of all remaining Auto Payments. The new amount will be reflected for the rest of your Auto Payment Schedule. However, once the change is implemented, you can then file a new request to change your amount. There isn't a limit on the number of requests we will honor.
