SoFi: How to Find Your 10-Day Payoff Information

Account Information

Your SoFi/MOHELA account number is a 10-digit number located in the top right of your billing statement. Loans are denoted by Loan Sequence numbers and are typically 1, 2, 3, etc. Please do not use the “Loan Program” as the unique identifier for your loan since their team will not be able to identify payoffs with that information.

Billing Statement

If you are enrolled in paperless, you may download a copy of your billing statement by signing in to your SoFi/MOHELA account and selecting “Messages > Notification of Withdrawl.” It’s important to note our upload section can only support JPG, PNG, or PDF file types. If you don’t have a copy of your statement to provide, you can upload a screenshot showing your loan details instead. Please make sure the upload includes as much of the following as possible: your full name, a recent date, account number, and payoff amount. If we need any clarification on the information provided, our team will contact you by email before sending the funds to SoFi/MOHELA.

10-Day Payoff Amount

The "10-day Payoff Amount" is your current loan balance plus ten days of interest for the loan(s) you'd like to include at SoFi. You may locate your 10-day payoff information online through your SoFi/MOHELA dashboard. To do so, please:

  1. Sign in to your account here.
  2. Select “Payment Tools” from the top of the page.
  3. Choose “Payoff Calculator” from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select a payoff date 10 days from the current date.

You may also receive your 10-day payoff information by requesting a quote from SoFi/MOHELA customer support. Keep in mind that the 10-day payoff amount assumes payoff in 10 days and, therefore, may lead to an overpayment or underpayment. Most overpayments will be refunded to Earnest and applied to your principal balance, but occasionally, they may be issued to you. For underpayments, however, you’ll be responsible for paying the remaining amount. If you have any other questions about your loan approval or need further assistance, please use the "Get In Touch” button at the bottom of this article.

Finally, these instructions may have been updated by SoFi/MOHELA since this article was published. We encourage you to review their website for the most accurate payoff information.
